Russia-Ukraine conflict might slow down climate action

Russia is a massive international distributor of rare metals, which are used in the production of green renewables.

Because of potential sanctions imposed by the West on Russia as a result of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, global supplies of these raw materials are severely compromised, and it might slow down climate action.
