Program to train doctors to spot signs of domestic violence

Doctors in Brisbane will receive new training to deal with domestic violence under a plan launched this week.

The plan will be rolled out to 70 practices south of Brisbane in January next year.

It aims to help all members of a doctor’s surgery deal with domestic violence.
