New guidelines for suicide-related crisis in Emergency Departments

The Black Dog Institute published new guidelines yesterday to prepare and equip emergency department staff for those at risk of suicide.

This follows a recent review which found very low satisfaction levels with Emergency Department care.

Planning for the guidelines and evaluation will kick off next year.
