Space treaty 50 years on: mines, colonies and space lawyers

The Outer Space Treaty was established in 1967 and signed 50 years ago today.

Since then, Australia and the world have made some serious developments and plans for space exploration – from Mars settlements to mining asteroids.

This agreement has stood the test of time and technological advancements, keeping our skies at peace.
