Volunteers at community television stations across Australia were this week preparing for their final television broadcast, until just yesterday, when the Minister for Communications Senator Mitch Fifield gave them a six month lifeline. Questions over the future of the free-to-air broadcast, as well as the support needed to finalise the transition online however, have yet to be answered.
