Over the last two decades we’ve lost more than 80 percent of our Tasmanian Devils to a particularly malignant type of cancer that attacks their face. It’s also contagious.
But a team at the University of Tasmania has spearheaded new research that is showing very positive signs of a cure.
The approach is unusual: using cancer to fight cancer.
