Mapoon: a role model for indigenous communities

According to police statistics, Indigenous communities in Northern Queensland have significantly higher crime rates than the rest of the state.

However, Mapoon, a remote Indigenous community in Northern Queensland is defying the trend of high Indigenous crime rates.
