Labor to negotiate with East Timor over maritime boundary

The maritime border between Australia and East Timor, also known as Timor-Leste, could be formally negotiated if Labor wins this year’s election. Shadow Foreign Affairs Minister announced the policy about-face last week, saying the Labor government would redouble efforts to settle maritime boundaries between Australian and Timor Leste.
