Paid parental leave cuts under scrutiny

In December, the Federal Government announced a suite of future cuts as part of the Mid Year Economic & Fiscal Outlook. One of the proposals is to change the structure of Paid Parental Leave and, if approved, it could mean some mothers are forced to return to work after less than half of the time recommended by the World Health Organisation.
