Over a third of large companies paid no tax 2013-14: ATO

Under legislation passed at the urging of The Greens, the Tax Commissioner has revealed the tax and incomes of over 1500 large companies trading in Australia during 2013. Over a third paid no tax or very little tax at all. But there is no further information to show how companies minimised or avoided paying their fair share.
