A woman dies at the hands of a current or former partner almost every week in Australia. Some research suggests this rate is much higher. But media reporting of the issue isn’t always sufficient. A new awards system by the “OUR WATCH” campaign is trying to shift that and make an impact on the rates of violence against women.
